mybutcher is an Australian family owned and operated company with steep roots, now 6 generations. The origins started with Robert Buckley arriving aged 18 with his 3 mates as free settlers in June 1837, 6 months after proclamation. Robert bought his first plot of land of 300 acres in the Adelaide Hills for the grand sum of 80 pounds in 1842 and the family has been on the land ever since, so it was not a difficult move for his great, great grandson Tony to become a butcher and establish mybutcher over 21 years ago.

The Ageing Room – we have a dedicated dry ageing facility, established 10 years ago, we source high quality beef and typically age for 21-40 days on the bone. This process causes the natural enzymes to break down the connective beef tissue, resulting in a fantastic tenderness and rich beef flavour for a superior eating experience.
Restaurant Quality Food Direct to the consumer – through our supply to the Romeo’s Retail Group the consumer has access to all of these wonderful food service products, that are supplied to venues throughout South Australia and Northern Territory
