Romeo’s Foodland in Erindale is looking fine! The first Foodland store bought by the Romeo’s Retail Group back in 1996, the Erindale store is an important part of our story and it’s been an exciting development to undertake recent renovations.
The store has a rich history, marking the beginning of an era for the Romeo’s Retail Group in South Australia. It’s surrounded by some of the eastern suburbs’ most iconic local businesses and we’ve enjoyed getting to know them and being part of their daily lives for the past 25 years.
While some things will never change, you can expect some big changes when you next drop into our Erindale store.
You can still expect exceptional service — including things like a helping hand in taking groceries to your car, of course. And we still cater to a vast range of departments, making it easy to find the items you’re after.
At the heart of it, we’re maintaining the traditions that make our much-loved stores what they are, but there are also some big-ticket changes.
So, what’s new at Romeo’s Foodland in Erindale?
Love fresh and delicious sushi? You’re in luck! For the first time, we’ll have an in-house Emperor Sushi bar, serving up the freshest and tastiest sushi. Made every day, using fresh ingredients from our store, it’s perfect for a quick and healthy lunch, dinner or to take an entertaining platter to the next level.
Say cheese! You’ll be grinning from ear to ear when you see how many varieties of cheese we have in our new cheese bar. From mouth-watering specialty cheeses to popular everyday choices the whole family will love — if you love cheese, we need to talk!
Dinners are made easy with our huge selection of ready-made meals. From handy meals for one to serving up a nourishing meal for the whole family, we’ve got plenty of options to make meal time a breeze.
We’ve updated our bakery and expanded it in size to bring you more of our freshly baked bread, rolls, pastries and cakes… just to name a few.
From exotic blends of tea to locally-made goodies, our gourmet section is bursting with even more premium quality selections! Now it’s even easier to find those specific items that make every day special, or put that special touch on an event.
Shopping for small goods just got great, big time! Our updated deli and new meat section are looking amazing and they’re full to the brim with plenty of options to cater for your everyday needs, as well as being a go-to when you have the masses over.
